Library Membership

Membership to the H.B Williams Memorial Library is free for all residents within the Gisborne and Wairoa Districts.

To register, please bring identification and proof of postal address (i.e. a recent bank statement, bill etc.)

To start the process you can register online, then bring in your ID to complete the application.

Library Bags 

The HB Williams Memorial Library has new jute bags for sale, in partnership with Flag the Bag Tairawhiti. The bags are super strong and ideal for books (or groceries) and proceeds will help support Flag the Bag Tairawhiti activities.

The bags cost $6 and are available from the Pukarau service desk at the library.
