We’re excited to have local author Sarah Charteris join us for a reading of her books from the book series Chopper and Frank – The Rescue Dogs.  These rhyming children’s books are based on a real life father and son duo.  The first book “An East Coast Mission” introduces us to the main characters Chopper and Frank while book two “A Mahia Mission” the latest to hit the shelves takes us on another one of Chopper and Franks missions.

This series was written, designed and produced here in Gisborne by local company Charteris Choppers with the support of Draggnett Design and is a fundraiser raising funds for the Eastland Helicopter Trust, with $5 from each sale going to the trust.  Books can be purchased from Balance Street Books or online at www.charterischoppers.co.nz
