Parks Week 2022 5-13 March
- Location - Botanical Gardens
Back by popular demand after a successful venture at the Te Tairawhiti Arts Festival in 2021, we have reinstalled the Taniwha - Hīkoi Kōrero :: StoryWalk® in The Botanical Gardens for Parks Week 2022.
A little boy has made friends with the taniwha in his river, but no-one believes him. The taniwha takes him on a journey through time and myth.
Take a stroll through the Botanical Gardens loop and discover the classic story ‘Taniwha’.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
